About Us
Elder Service Providers is a collaborative network of professionals dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Bellingham, WA, and the surrounding communities. Our consortium is founded on principles of collaboration, education, and community support, aiming to provide comprehensive care solutions and resources for seniors and their caregivers.
HISTORY
A group of people working with seniors came together in 1990 to network at a luncheon at St. Luke’s Health Education Center. From that emerged a quarterly meeting among members of the community that served seniors. These meetings led to a desire to have a greater purpose and the name Elder Service Providers was adopted. In March 1995, the first ever Caregiver Conference was held. In August of 1995, the paperwork was submitted to the state for Elder Service Providers to become a non-profit.
